At the DTC (Digital Transformation Centre) I performed a number of roles. This included running workshops on design software such as Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I also worked with the large format printers preparing research and teaching materials. This included facilitating a drop-ship service to the community for all their large format printing needs.
Photography was a significant part of this role too as we not only needed to showcase the facilities of the centre but also because we were systematically digitising a large archive of historic materials of all sizes. This included working with the 3D scanner to digitise 3D objects such as archaeological finds and even a kayak so that engineers could model possible builds for a hydrofoil.
In addition to this I helped curate exhibitions and community open reach events for the university where we showcased research and interactive projects for all to engage with and learn from. This included activities specially for children as well as adults.
I also produced assets for their website and social media.
