I worked in-house at Athena as a curator and coordinated their design and marketing, and PR output. This involved selecting the artwork and working closely with the printers to ensure quality control. I designed a new website and managed their social media and email marketing campaigns. Designed exhibition stands for trade shows and developed contacts with Fenwicks, John Lewis and Barker and Stonehouse.
I produced the catalogues and all necessary photography needed for this and also product instructions and product development.
One of my key roles was in merchandising both for internal commercial spaces owned ATHENA and also for other shops and websites who were selling our products. This involved shop front merchandising and packaging and more. I worked with FMCG and Luxury products across ATHENA and its sister brand VIVARTI.
My role heavily depended on industry and trend research to ensure that our collections and products were meeting customer demand but also to capitalise on gaps in the market and other opportunities.
